IEP2: $2 million fund to support transport innovation

After the success of the 2023 Impact Extension Program, iMOVE is pleased to announce a second round of the program (IEP2), this time with a $2 million funding pool available to support promising transport innovations.
The IEP program contributes to iMOVE’s overarching mission to advance the development and adoption of technologies that improve Australia’s transport systems, through high-impact R&D collaborations.
The initial 2023 round of IEP helped progress new technologies in the areas of e-micromobility and public transport accessibility. We now seek to support additional initiatives that could improve transport for Australia.
We welcome applications from any organisation with an Australian ABN that has a compelling transport-related initiative. This includes established businesses and start-ups, research centres and universities and any other entities active in this space.
About IEP2
IEP2 is a funding initiative that seeks to accelerate the evolution of ideas, products and services that will make a significant contribution to the Australian transport and mobility sector.
We expect that IEP2 and its outcomes will contribute to the legacy of the iMOVE CRC after it finishes its operations in 2027.
