Ian Christensen, Managing Director, iMOVE
Ian is a passionate and experienced practitioner in innovation and collaboration, and these were the driving motivators behind his initiative to establish the iMOVE Co-operative Research Centre.
He has spent most of his working life developing and delivering innovation in real-world environments, with particular achievements in manufacturing, biotechnology, and transport.
His leadership of iMOVE draws on over 16 years of experience in managing multi-stakeholder collaborations and over 40 years of activity in technology innovation.
Ian is interested in a wide range of subject matter and creates value by identifying useful connections. He has a Bachelors degree in science and an MBA, and is the inventor on two families of patents.
Kirk Coningham OAM, CEO, Australian Logistics Council
Business leader, influencer, connector and change agent with a reputation for integrity and delivery. Proven capacity to drive change and inspire teams. Impeccable leadership and communications skills developed over a diverse and successful career.
Before leading the ALC was the National Executive Director of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and CEO of high profile membership organisation (Master Builders ACT) with rapidly growing membership and transformational Industrial Relations strategy. Prior to that Chief of Staff to the global CEO of Leighton Holdings.

Samantha Taylor, National Partnerships Leader, ARRB
Samantha is an inspiring and insightful leader who encourages teams to collaborate, build relationships and work across disciplines. With a gift for strategic thinking, sound judgement and a natural ability to see talent in others Samantha has demonstrated experience building high performing, effective teams.
Beginning her career in freight in 1993 with a Research Master’s degree in Urban Freight Movement, she subsequently established more than 25 years of research and consulting in last mile, urban freight and logistics fields. Recently Samantha worked with the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 team on last mile freight trials which were a key input to the Austroads’ project Extended Hours Delivery Trials. Earlier, Samantha led the project Overcoming Barriers to Out of Hours Deliveries in Urban Areas.
Samantha is an experienced and passionate advocate for livability and sustainability in transport and has a sound understanding of all aspects of road transport.
Ben Morley-John, Managing Director, Smash Delta
Ben leads the Smash Delta team, and as an advisor to government and the private sector, he works alongside senior leaders to develop strategies that embed impactful analytics and AI capabilities within their teams.
Ben and the Smash Delta team have undertaken cutting-edge and strategic analytics/AI projects across a range of initiatives – including serving as lead strategic and analytics adviser to Transport for NSW in the development of the 30 Minute City and advising a range of government departments on the application of predictive/mobility technologies.
Based in Sydney, Ben has previously worked throughout Asia Pacific and the Americas – heading up Data & Analytics at L.E.K. Consulting and has worked across a range of investment banks and financial services firms.
Martin McMullan, Senior Adviser Mobility & Technology, Smash Delta
Martin is a global thought leader at the intersection of mobility and technology. His experience ranges from leadership within government to founding a range of technology businesses.
He founded next-generation mobility platforms Frenzy & Optiki in New Zealand; while as Director for Connected Journeys at the NZ Transport Agency, Martin was accountable for Transport Technology which included Future Transport, intelligent transport systems, mobility as a service, national transport payments, and innovation. This included the automated compliance project, WeighRight, which reduced the time freight spent being inspected by the police services using road-based weigh stations, camera analytics, and predictive models.
Josh Inatey, Director (Analytics), Smash Delta
Joshua works closely with senior leaders to demystify and prove up the technological components of the innovation landscape. He has worked with major government organisations to develop mobility-optimised analytics using movement and geospatial datasets.
He has also worked with clients to design and develop machine learning solutions to drive customer insight and engagement. His recent engagements have been spread across smart cities, mobility, media, and professional sport verticals. Prior to this Joshua was Senior Data Scientist at L.E.K. Consulting.
