VIDEO: Understanding and addressing future digital skills gaps

On 26 April 2023 we ran a webinar presenting outcomes from the Our changing transport and mobility workforce – understanding and addressing future skills gaps project, in which we developed a deeper understanding of the workforce implications resulting from the digitalisation and automation of transport in the context of the Australian market. We recorded the webinar, and have embedded the video further down this page.

Speakers

The webinar was moderated by Jackie King, Head of Communications and Marketing at iMOVE Australia, and introduced by Ian Christensen, iMOVE’s Managing Director.

Those presenting were:

• Professor Hussein Dia – Principal Research Fellow, Swinburne University of Technology
• Associate Professor Hadi Ghaderi – Principal Traffic Engineer, Swinburne University of Technology

In their presentations the speakers outlined the methods and scopes of these projects, after which was a short Q&A session.
