Yesterday’s iMOVE webinar, Progress towards more efficient supply chains, was recorded and for those unable to attend, or want to watch/listen again, we’ve embedded the webinar video on this page, in addition to providing the slide decks used by the event’s speakers.
The webinar covered progress and outcomes of Transport for NSW / iMOVE urban freight projects, including the Co-modality: Making use of public transport to carry freight and Evaluating loading dock capacity in new developments projects, and a showcase of the prototype of the National Freight Data Hub.
Amongst the questions answered are:
- Is co-modality a viable option for efficient urban freight delivery?
- How can we accurately forecast freight task for buildings and inform loading dock capacity?
- What are we learning from COVID disruption about moving freight and how can we respond?
- What are the benefits of a single freight data standard for national digital framework, and how can we move forward?
