
Celebrating 10 years of transport investment and innovation

The ITS-A Global Summit 2026 is one of the premier events on the Australian transport calendar, and we’re thrilled to announce that iMOVE will partner with ITS-A to celebrate its 10 years of history and innovation at the event.
Collaboration has long been a driving force for industrial innovation, including in Australia’s transport sector. In hundreds of cases across Australia, that collaboration has been delivered through iMOVE Australia, the nation’s national centre for transport and mobility research and development.
The Global Summit 2026 will be held in Melbourne from 22–24 September 2026, bringing together more than 250 presentations over 50 sessions.

iMOVE Managing Director Ian Christensen said partnership and collaboration has been at the heart of the organisation’s success.
‘We are very proud of the achievements of our partners since 2017,’ said Mr Christensen.
‘We have grown from 44 partners to more than 70, and the levels of activity and outputs delivered have been extraordinary: 317 projects to date and a projected R&D spend of over $100 million from an original $70 million. This reflects the dedication and commitment of organisations Australia-wide to work together, find solutions to challenges, and advance the sector for the benefit of all.iMOVE
